Payment of the deposit:
A deposit of 10% -payable in Euro- of the total amount is due after availability
will have been checked by La Ligne Verte, or full amount if within 6weeks
of travel.
Payment of the outstanding balance:
Receipt of the final balance at the latest 6weeks before departure. If
you are paying by credit card we will let you know in advance we will be
charging your credit card for the final balance.
Booking confirmation after Payment: As soon as we received the authorization
for the payment of your deposit we will send you by email a confirmation
of your reservation and the list of hotels (with phone numbers) of your
trip.
Rates and Group discounts
Basic rates are prices per person with 2 personen sharing double or twin
rooms; bags transfers included; bike rental not included in basic rate.
Solo all-in prices are prices for single travellers including single
room supplement; bags transfers included; bike rental not included.
Group discounts are applicable only on the basic rates p.p. with 2 personen
sharing room, but not on supplements for single rooms, extra nights,
nor on bike rental or any other supplements.Group discounts apply to parties
and families of 3 to 8 personen. Group discountsare indicated in a percentage
of the basic rate and apply to every member of the party. The applicable
discount applies to payments that are made for the whole party with a maximum
of three different credit cards. For payments with 1 credit cards no
administrative supplement will be charged. For payments with 2 credit
cards an administrative supplement of 20 will be charged to the second
credit card. For payments with 3 credit cards an administrative supplement
of 20 will be charged to the second and to the third credit card.
For payments with 4 or more credit cards no groups discounts will apply.
Moreover, cancelation of just one or more personen of the group will affect
the total group-discount applicable (i.e. lower substantially for all the
remaining members of the party).
So, if one of more personen of the group, originally booking together,
have to cancel their trip we are not going to ask the remaining members
of the party to pay extra for the difference. For this reason cancelation
a trip (booked-with-group-discount) by one or more members of the party
will cause an extra withholding (to the personen cancelation) relative to
the new (i.e. lower) applicable discount percentage applicable to the remaining
members of the party. The withholding will be a percentage of the basic
rate to be settled with the refund due by La Ligne Verte.
Example: 5 personen book a trip with group discount of 12%. Basic
rate p.p. 1000, with group discount 880. Total paid (basic rates only):
5x 880 = 4400. 2 personen cancel their participation. Remaining members
: 3, which will cause a new discount of 8%. New price for the remaining
members 3 x 1000 minus 8%= 3 x 920 = 2760 The remaining members had already
paid 3 x 880 = 2640. Rest still to be paid: 2760-2640=120. 120 will
be hold in and settled with the cancellation refund due by La Ligne Verte
to the 2 personen who cancelled.
If you cancel during the trip we will refund
you 90% of the part not consumed within 10 days after cancellation.
5% of this will be a credit for your next booking in 2023 or 2024.
We suggest you take an insurance for costs of
cancellation. To cancel a booked journey you have to send an email to: La
Ligne Verte ~ Vacances à la Carte. The person who signed/mailed the booking
confirmation ("Party leader") should also sign/mail the notification
of cancellation. Cancellation has to be done by email to establish the date
of cancellation, with confirm receipt. Our cancellation charges, based on
the total cost are as follows:
If you have to cancel we refund: More than
42 days before departure date: 90% of total rate From 42 to 29 days
before departure date: 80% of total rate From 28 to 15 days before departure
date: 60% of total rate From 14 to 8 days before departure date: 20%
of total rate From 7 to 2 days before departure date: 10% of total rate
One day before departure day or on day of departure: no refund
By departure date we mean: the day of your first hotel night. If you
might have to cancel there is always the possibility to let some other person
travel in your place, without extra costs.
"Cancellation-inclusion package" La Ligne Verte - valac
For all our budget, standard and plus toours in the Grands Causses area
(and here only!) you can purchase our "cancelation-inclusion-package"
to cover the costs of any cancellation. For a supplement of 10% of the total
costs of your trip with La Ligne Verte (not the costs of travelling to the
first hotel of the trip) you can cancel your trip (not the travel costs)
without having to state the grounds for doing so.
The cancellation-inclusion-package will result in a refund of 80% of
the price of the package including the 10% costs of cancelling-inclusion-package.
