You trip will go through the three main areas of Tarn basin: Tarn valley, Pays de Roquefort and part of the Gorges and Causses, the canyons of the limestone plateau, most of all in Aveyron department. Click here for a virtual visit of Aveyron.

The itinerary:
Start and end in Albi. Depending on the lenght of your trip you will cycle in Tarn valley or all the way from ASlbi through the valley to the gorges (canyon) du Tarn before going back through Tarn valley to Albi.

Cycling tour in Midi-Pyrénées in Tarn and Sud-Averyon along the river Tarn.
You'll be cycling in meandering river valleys, empty roads with just the occasional shepherd.   Rolling countryside, with natural stone built houses and farms. Easy and moderate (sporting if you want) cycling roads in mountainous region up to 800m altitude.

Gorgeous Roquefort dishes,  plus the menu's du terroir, finest meals.
You will stay in the best hotels in these two departments of the Southern Central Massif Mountains.  In Millau you'll bike under and above (not over) the newly built Millau - 432m high - Viaduct.
